Engraver/Sign Maker

Be part of our team responsible for producing all types of engraved and ADA / Braille signs. We are well established with a reputation for quality and service--you will help continue that mission. You will be responsible for the design and manufacturinge of engraved and ADA signage with occasional lite interior installation.

The Applicant MUST have:

  • Good mechanical apptitude
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the telephone and in written form
  • Possess basic math and measuring skills, and be quality conscious
  • Must be comfortable working with simple hand tools.
  • Be able to lift 30 lbs boxes when necessary
  • High personal and ethical standards
  • Self starter
  • Be a Team Player with good people skills
  • Reliable Transportation with valid CA Drivers License

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Experience with rotary, laser engraving or CNC machines and related software.
  • Graphic design experience
  • Experience with Xenetech engravers
  • Experience with Direct Color System digital printers
  • Knowledge of FlexiSign and/or Adobe Illustrator
  • Knowledge of ADA requirements as they relate to signage
  • Experience with vinyl cutters, large format printers, and laminators
  • Experience with application of vinyl graphics
  • Customer service experience a real plus
  • Sign industry knowledge
  • Be a problem solver
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and blue prints


  • Design signage/graphics using customers notes, graphics files, sketches and verbal instructions
  • Interface with customers to produce estimates and proofs
  • Use and care of machines to include engravers and computer workstations
  • Work independently and as part of a team to produce signage on time following work order instructions
  • Assist with other signage projects as needed
  • Install signs as needed
